Tele radiology, which involves the transmission of images from one remote location to another, benefits short-staffed facilities by enabling timely image reading and interpretation. iMAS-TeleRAD enables image reading (from remote locations) and do transcriptions. It offers tool bar to view images, zoom, contrast change, marking, ruler, measurements, annotations, etc. Also standard templates for important modalities like CT scan, MRI, etc are given to speed up transcription. There is also facility to send the transcript by email to the referring physician.
