MOU signed between Sankara Nethralaya and Cynaptix Technologies Pvt Ltd
	This memorandum of understanding (MOU) was executed between Sankara Nethralaya - Vision Research Foundation, Chennai, represented by its Chairman Dr. Lingam Gopal and Cynaptix Technologies Private Ltd, represented by its Chief Executive Mr. N. Srinivasan . The Glaucoma department of Vision Research Foundation started interacting with Cynaptix to find out the feasibility of developing software to do planimetry evaluation on the optic nerve head images obtained during fundus examination of patients.
Cynaptix carried out the software design and architecture to proceed with the development plan with technical and clinical assistance from glaucoma specialist. The developed software was given to Vision Research Foundation for testing. The parties to the MOU have expressed a mutual desire to cooperate on enhancing the already developed and pilot tested software “CyOptique-GL version 3” used for planimetry evaluation of glaucoma for use in the Glaucoma department of Vision Research Foundation and also tap the market potential of the software.
